Julia is renowned for her fun, friendly and enlightening Baroque string workshops, running them regularly in Kent and Sussex and around the UK for the Midlands, Welsh Border and Southern Early Music Forums. In these workshops both popular and lesser-known Baroque repertoire is discovered in a new way with emphasis on the rhetorical string techniques of the day. Julia also teaches the A415 Orchestra, a monthly workshop for authentic wind and string instruments which runs as part of the year-round events featured in the Brighton Early Music Festival.
